Hendrina Doroba has over 20 years’ experience in teaching and social development work. She has worked with the Commonwealth Education Fund project under Oxfam GB Zambia and has developed and coordinated in-service training programmes for Mathematics teachers.

Rissalatou Sant’Anna has more than 15 years’ experience in accounting and treasury operations at international level. She has worked with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Ghana and with the Central Bank of West African States in Senegal.

Zeddiel Bundi is in charge of the front office and is responsible for welcoming and orienting visitors to FAWE House. He performs various administrative duties including travel arrangements and managing office supplies, the telephone system and correspondence.

Research, Communication and Advocacy Officer

Irmin Durand is responsible for developing and coordinating the research, communication and advocacy activities of the Regional Secretariat. She has worked on education programmes at UNESCO-IIEP, in the publishing sector and as a journalist in both print and broadcast media.

 

Ms Patience Fielding
Research Fellow, FAWE-Norad research initiative

Patience Fielding is coordinating FAWE’s Norad-funded research initiative for the 2011/2012 period. She is a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of Education at the University of California at Berkeley. Her research investigates constructions of gender in Mathematics, Science, Technology and Higher Education in developing countries.

Josephine Munthali is an experienced researcher in gender, education and sustainable development. She has worked as Executive Director of the Child Support Project and for the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund as Africa Projects Officer.

Jacinta Ogolla served as Executive Director of Mobile Education for Life International for six years and taught French at the Booker Academy of Mumias Sugar Company in Kenya for 15 years.

Capacity-Building and Training Coordinator (WASRO)

Marema Diokhane Dioum is Capacity-Building and Training Coordinator based at FAWE's West Africa sub-Regional Office (WASRO), and FAWE focal point for the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA). She has worked with ministries of education at continental, national and local levels.

Ramata Almamy Mbaye has a background in sociology, with special focus on the family and on African children. She has over 13 years’ experience with leading NGOs working on education and the promotion of children’s rights. Before joining FAWE WASRO, she worked for Plan Senegal and at FAWE Senegal.
