Aicha Bah Diallo, FAWE Vice Chairperson Advisor to the Director General UNESCO EducationGlobally, there are still seventy-five million children who do not have access to education. Two thirds are girls. Of these seventy-five million children, 45% are in Africa, south of the Sahara. So it is important that FAWE continue to work in the area of basic education.
