To promote gender equity and equality in education in Africa by fostering positive policies, practices and attitudes towards girls’ education.

Uganda 2010 Uganda 2010
FAWE held its 8th Donor meeting and 40th executive meeting respectively from March 22 to 23 and 26 to 27 in Kampala Uganda. It was the occasion to present the yearly report, the findings from the different research concerning girls education, gender parity in school environment and work place. It was also the time to present to the donors the financial results and the plan for the year coming. With the result presented at this meeting and the perspective ahead to accomplish its strategic plan 2008_2012, FAWE has proved its capacity to play a role in girls education in Africa if given the means.
