FAWE Sierra Leone Chapter was founded in 1995 and has a total of 580 members.The Chapter has an annual newsletter.

BURSARIES

FAWE Sierrra Leone has supported over 3,000 needy girls with bursaries. this year 600 girls are being supported.

FAWE CLUBS

FAWE Sierra Leone has started clubs in school reaching 600 girls. They undertake peer education programmes, empowerment programmes to build self esteem which has lead to improved performance. FAWE Sierra Leone undertakes a non formal education that has enrolled 3308 girls in non formal schools and 776 in skills training centres.

FAWE Sierra Leone continued to partner closely with FAWE Liberia in a non formal education programme.
