FAWE Uganda Chapter was founded in 1997 and has a total of 387 members
BURSARIES
The FAWE Uganda Chapter has supported 3,000 needy girls with
bursaries. The Programme also incorporates a Mentoring programme
which has trained 53 members todate.
SMT
The Chapter's programme to promote girls' participation in science includes science camps, teacher training and community sensitisation.
Sexual Maturation
The Chapter has a programme to equip students with skills to manage their sexual maturation and menstruation.
GIRLS' CLUBS
The Chapter has established clubs in 5 schools.
GEM
The Chapter, in collaboration with UNICEF has launched the Girls' Education Movement in Uganda.
