FAWE Zambia Chapter was founded in 1996 and has a total of 1,500 members
GIRLS CLUBS FAWE Zambia Chapter has established 239 girls clubs dubbed SAFE Clubs reaching a total of 810 students.
The Clubs have also reached 7,560 boys and girls with information on adolescent reproductive health.
The SAFE Clubs have also incorporated the TUSEME Empowerment Model in 10 schools.
BURSARIES The FAWE Zambia Chapter has supported 5,200 needy girls with bursaries.
SMT The Chapter has a programme to enhance girls' performance in SMT. The activities include: Competetive SMT telequiz, science camps and exchange of experiences amongst science teachers.
CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE In collaboration with with the MOE, the Chapter has launched a Centre of Excellence at Kamulanga High school. Activities have included:
- Establishment of a Tuseme Girls' Empowerment Club
- Teacher Training on Gender Responsive Pedagogy
- Community Sensitization on girls' education
