High Level Meeting on Child Marriage

23 - 25 October 2017

The Government of Senegal, is organizing a regional high-level meeting, with the support of a regional coalition, which brings together local and international civil society organisations (FAWE, Girls Not Brides, Plan International and Save the Children, WiLDAF and World Vision) and the United Nations (UNFPA, UNICEF, UN Women). This high-level meeting will therefore be a platform and a space for dialogue for actors and decision-makers in West and Central Africa. The main objective will be to build consensus on what it will take to translate existing and future commitments into tangible, measurable actions aimed at ending child marriage in the region.
