FAWE mourns Comoros member Jeanine Samuel

FAWE Comoros has announced the sudden death of one of its members, Ms Jeanine Samuel Ernest Mlanao, who passed away on 27 January.

Aged just 34 years, Ms Samuel was director of the office of the Chairman of the University of the Comoros. A trained psychologist, she held a number of teaching posts from 2002, including at the National Centre for Training and Research in Public Health and at the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of the Comoros.

Ms Samuel was an active member of FAWE Comoros and served as the National Chapter’s focal point at the University of the Comoros.

‘We are very sad to announce the death of Jeanine Samuel,’ said Ms Sittou Raghadat Mohamed, National Chapter Coordinator of FAWE Comoros. ‘This is a great loss for the University of the Comoros and for FAWE Comoros.’
